- Customizing Count Charts
- ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀
-
- Each Count chart may be entirely customized.
- It is important to understand the proper
- logic flow the computer takes when it looks
- at the charts to make its decision.
-
- The logic flow is as follows (When rules
- permit):
-
- Check Surrender Chart.
-
- If did not Surrender:
- Check Split Chart.
-
- If did not Split:
- Check Hard Double Chart.
-
- If did not Double Down:
- Check Soft Double Chart.
-
- If did not Double Down:
- Check Soft Hitting Chart.
-
- If did not Hit or Stand:
- Check Hard Hit/Stand Chart.
-
- If did not Hit or Stand:
- GET SELECTION FROM BASIC
- STRATEGY CHART.
-
-
- To Customize each chart, look in the upper right
- corner for possible entries (H=Hit, S=Stand, etc).
-
- A BLANK entry (SPACE BAR) tells the computer to
- take no action. To instead go directly to the next
- chart.
-
- If an entry is not permitted, you will not be able
- to enter it into your chart (For example: trying
- to enter "R" for Surrender in the Hit/Stand Chart
- is not permitted).
-
- Any count number from -999 to +999 may be entered
- in the charts. These count numbers tell the computer
- at which count it will take appropiate action.
-
- You will notice that some commercial count systems
- arrange their charts differently. Some choose to
- state that if a certain count or < less is obtained
- to take appropiate action, while others state that
- if a certain count or > greater is obtained to take
- action. By setting the color of each entry to BLUE
- or MAGENTA (using F5) both options are available for
- use, testing, and comparing.
